It’s been two weeks since I’ve last updated this blog. These weeks we are busy closing one of the most important deals – we’ve bought one of the last and definitely the largest stock of pomegranates. Pomegranates are a very popular fruit on the Russian market and, these months, also a rare one. Quality of Israeli pomegranates this season wasn’t the best, with many having external under-coloration or yellow spots, but this particular batch of pomegranates has only few fruits with such appearance. The fruit has survived the storage very well, with almost no changes to taste and virtually no change to its looks.
During the past 2 weeks and in the following 2 weeks the pomegranates will be sorted, packed and shipped to Russia. These will be the only pomegranates on that market, since all other pomegranate has finished long time ago.
